Africa
Africa is the birthplace of coffee and can be considered the most unique and diverse coffee-producing continent in the world. Since so many of the varieties are wild and uncatalogued they are labeled as "heirloom" indicating an unknown genetic provenance. Nearly a dozen African countries produce coffee, accounting for 12 percent of global production
Covering a wide spectrum of flavors, Africa coffees are known mostly for their fruity, juicy, with bright and smooth acidity. The coffees from this great continent are why I fell in love with and started roasting.
