Indonesia is located in the "bean belt" between the Indian and Pacific Oceans and is comprised of thousands of mountainous volcanic islands. The climate and rich volcanic soil gives way so some very rich and earthy coffees.

Depending on the island of origin Indonesian coffees can be chocolatey, spicy and syrupy or bright, citrusy and nutty. I love to dark roast these coffees and pull a sweet and strong shot of espresso.
